1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions, plans/packages, prepaid balances/credits (including balances/credits/compute quotas obtained through top-ups), and any other paid products or services purchased on JudianAI that are expressly stated to be governed by this Refund Policy.
2. Important Notice: Top-Ups/Prepaid Purchases Are Compute Resource Purchases and Non-Refundable
You understand and agree that any top-up or purchase of prepaid balance/credits/compute quota on JudianAI is, in substance, the purchase of computing and service resources available for use on the JudianAI platform ("Platform Compute Resources").
Once the prepaid balance/credits are successfully credited to your account (i.e., reflected as available balance/credits/quota), the transaction is deemed completed and is in principle non-refundable, regardless of whether you have actually used them or whether they are "unused."
If you purchase a subscription or package, whether a refund is available will be governed by the rules clearly stated on the relevant product page. If the product page does not explicitly state that refunds are available, the purchase is non-refundable by default.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances (Including but Not Limited to)
To the extent permitted by law, refunds are not supported in the following circumstances:
- A top-up or purchase of prepaid balance/credits/compute quota has been successfully credited to your account;
- Any usage or consumption has occurred (where applicable);
- Promotional/discounted or one-time services explicitly marked as "non-refundable" (if any);
- Your account/services have been restricted, suspended, or terminated due to violations of the JudianAI User Agreement or rules (except where refunds are mandatory by law);
- Usage issues caused by reasons not attributable to us, such as your network, configuration, credential/key leakage, or limitations imposed by third-party service providers (we may assist with troubleshooting, but this does not constitute a basis for a refund).
4. Exception Handling (Limited to Specific Cases)
Notwithstanding the non-refundable nature of top-ups under this Policy, if any of the following occurs, we will, after verification, make corrections and/or issue a necessary refund or reversal (through a reasonable method of our choosing):
- Duplicate/erroneous charges: the same transaction is charged more than once, or an abnormal charge clearly caused by a system error;
- Not credited / under-credited: payment is successful but the balance/credits/quota is not credited, or the credited amount is clearly incorrect (we may prioritize crediting/correcting the balance);
- Unauthorized transactions: you provide reasonable evidence of card theft/fraud or other unauthorized payment (we will cooperate with the payment processor and risk-control procedures; the outcome is subject to investigation results and the payment provider's rules);
- Legally required refunds: refunds required by applicable laws and regulations for specific users and/or specific transactions.
5. How to Request and How We Process
If you wish to request exception handling under Section 4, please email support@judianai.com with:
- Account (registered email / user ID)
- Order number / transaction ID
- Proof of payment (screenshot), if applicable
- Explanation of the issue (duplicate charge / not credited / erroneous charge / unauthorized transaction, etc.)
We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe. If a refund is required, it will generally be issued to the original payment method. The processing time is typically [5–15] business days, subject to the payment provider/bank processing timelines. If the original route is unavailable, we will coordinate with you on another feasible method.
6. Payment Disputes / Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with a payment institution, we reserve the right to suspend related services and API access during the dispute period and will cooperate with the payment institution's process. Any resulting fees or losses shall be borne by the responsible party.
